I create a simple plan and a simple texture with UV. It looks great in 3dmax 2008. Then I export it as an ase file. But when I put this into my silvelight project, the texture became so strange...

This is the one in 3dsmax

This is the exported ase file in ase viewer

And this is the one in silverlight....so strange

The reason for this is that the texture mapping is implemented as affine - without perspective correction. Plus there is no mag-filtering (bilinear) for scaling.

This is something I'm hoping to get implemented soon.

There is a work-around for you. If you subdivide your plane (in 3dsmax, set height and width segments to more than 1, and it will look more correct.

Thanks man, I will try your work-around solution.
