Retrieving Vertices From Mesh

Thanks for sharing the great work on Balder.

I am using Balder with Silverlight 5. I successfully load and display an ASE model into a Mesh object and now I want to get the vertices data to feed into a physics engine. My object inherits from Balder.Objects.Geometries.Mesh and I just cannot find a way to get to GetVertices() or anything like that. Is there a way to get vertex data from a Mesh loaded from an ASE model?

Thanks for any help on this.

Hi and thanks,

you can get the vertex information from the GeometryContext on the Mesh - from there you get the GeometryDetailLevel and it has methods for getting all the vertices. Also worth mentioning, is a property called FullDetailLevel that is a shortcut for getting the default full detail level of a geometry.

Hope this helps!
