Mouse Picking, Pick Ray, Pick Coordinate

Hello. Currently I'm trying to obtain the intersection point of a pick ray with a Geometry. All information that i have is:

the pick ray, I know that the pick ray will always intersect the geometry (a terrain).

Is there a way (a Pick(...) function) that gives me the 3D coordinate where the ray intersects the terrain?

You may have seen


That's a start. You should be able to use the return from that, and the pick ray to find a 3d point.  If the start of the Ray is thought of as 0,0,0  You could interpolate the returned distance in that direction, from that point to find the point in the world.
