Balder Praise

I wanted to offer a bit of praise for your foresight and effort throughout the system! I have finally decided to try and write my own asset loader, thinking it was going to be a big job. Not only is it easy, but I think I’ve found how geometry mesh data is shared between meshes. And that my asset loader will use this behavior without any additional effort on my part!

I hope I’m right, and further testing will confirm I’m sure. In any event, great job! This is a fantastic project that just keeps surprising me on how well thought out and thorough it is.

Thanks, glad you liked it - only thing missing is async capabilities, something that needs a bit of refactoring of core behavior to accomplish, but something I really want for Balder.

There is a caching system that is at the core of Balder that caches all assets being loaded, so even though you explicitly load an asset multiple times - it will only be loaded once.
