Reusing Mesh Data

I was wondering, if I load mesh data manually into a custom object that I inherit from Geometry, is there any way to share the loaded mesh data (normals, verts, tx coords) among multiple geometry objects?  I have a modle I made in Blender, I wrote a custom export script, and I build a geometry using the data.  But, every time I want to add one of these modles to the world I'll be duplicating all that mesh data.  Is there a way to share it?

I'm still new to the '3d terms' so I imagine there is a name for this sort of thing that I don't know.

If you load it using Balder normally, Balder will cache it and reuse it the second time it is loaded.
