I was thinking about how to render fog today but I'm coming up short.  I know semi-transparent textures are not supported but in the case of fog, I can render that to the frame myself if I could get access to the rendering at a certain point.

determine how far a face is from the camera and then blend in the fog color during the render phase.  That would mean I'd need to calculate that distance per face.  By chance does Balder already do that?

Just wondering.

Fog is something I wanted to create as a Light, similar to OmniLight or any of the others. They get called per point in a 3D model and you can influence everything. The semi-transparency would be needed for blending with a background I guess.
