Texture problem

I create a simple plan and a simple texture with UV. It looks great in 3dmax 2008. Then I export it as an ase file. But when I put this into my silvelight project, the texture became so strange...

The reason for this is that the texture mapping is implemented as affine - without perspective correction. Plus there is no mag-filtering (bilinear) for scaling.

This is something I'm hoping to get implemented soon.

There is a work-around for you. If you subdivide your plane (in 3dsmax, set height and width segments to more than 1, and it will look more correct.
